Job Summary
Baxter is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support a growing portfolio of connected devices and digital health applications.
The role administers, operates, and monitors customer-facing applications and platforms deployed on Baxter's Azure cloud platform.
The role also defines and documents processes supporting security, privacy, and other compliance standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive strategies for 24x7 service availability and business continuity for healthcare software applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
- Manage Azure virtual machines, databases, networking components, and other cloud resources.
- Define and document operating procedures for security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution.
- Define operations SLAs and non-functional requirements to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Establish monitoring dashboards and automated notification-routing workflows.
- Define KPIs and standardize reporting for availability, capacity, service performance, SLAs, and cost utilization.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation covering after-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
