Job overview
Senior Site Engineer – Mechanical/Piping for a desalination and reverse-osmosis plant project.
The role requires independent management of site execution, manpower, materials, technical coordination, and progress.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Strong GCC oil and gas experience is mandatory.
- Extensive metallic and process piping fabrication, erection, and installation experience is required.
- Knowledge of CS/SS piping, fittings, valves, supports, and mechanical equipment installation is required.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and project specifications is required.
- Experience with fit-up, welding coordination, hydrotesting, test packages, reinstatement, and punch-list clearance is required.
- Knowledge of method statements, ITPs, and construction procedures is required.
Preferred experience
- Desalination or reverse-osmosis plant experience is highly preferred.
- Mechanical equipment erection and alignment experience is an advantage.
- Previous Qatar or Ras Laffan experience is an advantage.
