The Serviceability Engineer role improves customer experience through stronger product diagnostics, supportability, and usability.
The role is part of Nutanix's Service Strategy and Enablement team in Bangalore.
The position is a key individual contributor role bridging Support and Engineering.
Product influence and design
- Define Business Requirement Documents for serviceability improvements and diagnostic functions.
- Participate in New Product Introduction and provide architectural input for supportability.
- Review product design documents and test plans to incorporate field gaps and known issues.
- Bridge Support and Engineering to improve diagnostic tools for support teams.
Release readiness and validation
- Review customer and support feedback to identify high-impact product improvements.
- Prioritize diagnostic automation and auto-resolution capabilities.
- Maintain serviceability standards across hardware and software release cycles.
- Lead release-criteria testing, document results, track bug-fix rates, and support transition to general availability.
