Role Overview
Senior Server Engineer supporting enterprise server, virtualization, storage, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
The role supports assigned datacenters, data rooms, and related computing environments in a 24x7 operation.
The engineer collaborates with customers, vendors, application teams, peers, and leadership and mentors other engineers.
Compensation
- The anticipated annual salary range is $121,700 to $188,800 for work in New Jersey.
- A separate pay range in the posting lists $121,748.93 to $171,970 per year.
Responsibilities
- Monitor tickets, resolve issues within SLAs, and troubleshoot application and infrastructure problems.
- Perform security patching, operating system updates, VMware maintenance, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Execute runbooks for disaster recovery, decommissioning, installations, upgrades, and application patching.
- Create technical documentation and workflows and follow change management procedures.
- Support Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud services, including provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and access coordination.
- Participate in projects, meetings, after-hours maintenance, emergency response, and on-call rotation.
