Role Overview
The RTR Specialist supports hotels served by Hilton’s Finance Shared Service Centre.
The role reports to the Record to Report Supervisor and focuses on closing, reporting, reconciliations, tax preparation, and cash journals.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing activity processes.
- Maintain the fixed cost register and complete monthly balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT reconciliations and VAT returns.
- Review hotel P&L statements and prepare adjustments.
- Prepare monthly hotel financial reports and the daily cash journal.
- Assist with internal and external audit documentation.
- Perform other tasks required by business operations.
Required Qualifications
- Hospitality or hotel finance experience.
- High school graduation is the minimum education requirement.
- Relevant experience as a General Accountant or Income Auditor.
- Strong accounting knowledge and Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of financial and DMS systems, particularly Navision, and interest in learning new systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- University graduation and/or an accounting qualification is preferred.
- Experience as both a General Accountant and in revenue accounting is preferred.
- Arabic-speaking ability is preferred.
- DocuWare knowledge is preferred.
Personal and Technical Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starting approach and willingness to challenge processes.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple demands, and analyze large amounts of information accurately.
- Ability to collaborate with office and remote hotel team members and work with minimal direct supervision after training.
