Role overview
Oversee and manage quantity surveying activities for road and infrastructure PMC projects.
Support successful project delivery while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
Assignment duration is until the end of 2026, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for road projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost forecasts.
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements.
- Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Prepare progress reports covering milestones and project status.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders on cost-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and contract conditions.
- Advise on cost-effective road infrastructure solutions.
- Maintain project records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveyor experience focused on road projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership with RICS or an equivalent recognized institution.
- Knowledge of road construction techniques and industry practices.
- Leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with cost estimation and project management software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Analytical attention to detail and willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia.
