Sr Quality Engineer

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to support and provide direction in the implementation of product quality systems, including plans and programs.

Perform periodic analysis of the effectiveness of the quality system and coordinates improvement activity.

Coordinates quality issues with customers, suppliers and internal elements of the organization, including metrology and technical direction of inspection activity.

Acts in supervisory role of Quality Department.

This position is in Kingston, NY.

Job duties and Responsibilities :

• Coordinates department personnel to ensure day-to-day requirements are being met. Including daily work assignments, personnel vacation scheduling and payroll approval;
• Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements, standards and procedures for development and manufacturing products. Acts as single point of accountability (SPA) for ISO 9001 Internal Audit program, including Lead Auditory role;
• Serve as the Quality Assurance resource to department supervisors and manufacturing engineering for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and corrective/preventive action;
