Position Overview
Senior Projects Manager / Head of Projects role in construction, contracting, fit-out, and design-build.
The position leads the full project lifecycle from tendering and pre-construction through execution, handover, payment collection, and closeout.
The role requires project operations, commercial management, subcontractor management, client relations, team leadership, and financial control.
Tendering and Pre-Construction
- Oversee tendering and review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate Estimation, Procurement, and Engineering teams on competitive and technically compliant submissions.
- Review pricing, subcontractor quotations, exclusions, qualifications, commercial risks, budgets, and execution strategies.
- Participate in tender clarification meetings and commercial or technical negotiations.
- Ensure proper tender-to-project handover after award.
Project Operations and Execution
- Take overall responsibility for execution and performance of assigned company projects.
- Establish execution plans, budgets, procurement schedules, manpower requirements, and key milestones.
