- Work is performed in an office environment.
- The role includes occasional travel to site locations and occasional domestic and international travel.
Role Overview
The Senior Programmer Analyst performs advanced bioinformatics programming activities supporting the statistical and computational requirements of research projects.
The role works independently as lead programmer on selected moderately complex studies and may support more complex studies under a lead programmer.
Programming and Bioinformatics
- Create, execute, maintain, and validate programs that transfer, combine, summarize, and report data across multiple systems and sources.
- Validate SAS programs that generate listings, tables, and figures.
Study Leadership and Project Management
- Lead selected moderately complex studies and work with project leaders, client representatives, and multidisciplinary clinical-trial teams.
