Sr Product Manager – Advanced Battery Analytics

This role leads the development of Advanced Battery Analytics capabilities that transform capacity testing and battery performance data into actionable asset health and lifecycle recommendations.

The mission of the Sr Product Manager is to work with cross-functional product team(s) to develop and deliver solutions that are valuable to the customer while being viable for the business. This includes extensive communication and collaboration with both external customers and internal stakeholders. The product manager will work closely with Data Science & Analytics, the Service O&M organization, and the broader Vertech product team to ensure solutions are feasible, differentiated, and outcome driven.

The product manager must contribute a strong understanding of business constraints, including marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and cybersecurity—while bringing deep knowledge of battery behavior, asset analytics, and customer workflows across operations and energy markets.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required; advanced degree in engineering, economics, operations research, or related field a plus.

7–10 years working on technology-powered products, including analytics, forecasting, or optimization platforms.

Experience developing or managing analytics solutions in the energy domain is strongly preferred.

Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks and their application to analytics and optimization problems.

Background in energy storage, renewable energy, or complex, highly integrated industries is a strong plus.

Demonstrated understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques.

Up to 20% domestic and international travel will be required for customer and supplier visits, collaboration with colleagues, and participation in industry trade shows and conferences.
