In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
Work with the Global Engineering team and technical leads to create and review complete valve design packages, including 3D part and assembly models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and engineering Bills of Material (BOMs).
Verify designs using hand calculations and/or FEA/CFD analysis
Define and support validation testing
Prepare analysis reports and equipment specifications
Clearly communicate design details to project stakeholders such as plant engineers, test engineers, project managers, and supervisors
Prepare and maintain design documentation required for gate reviews
Prepare technical files required for product certifications applicable to the valve industry
Support sales and marketing activities by contributing to technical documentation such as Installation & Operating Manuals (IOMs), brochures, and Technical Data Sheets (TDS)
Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager

For This Role, You Will Need
Proven experience of new product designs, development, hands on experience with design verification tools such as GD&T, DFMEA and engineering calculations
Knowledge of international standards, such as ASME, API, EN, ISO (PED), BS valve standards
Hands on experience with design/certification standards like EN 12516, ASME B16.34, API 609, ISO15848, API 607 etc.
Excellent working experience in CAD software, such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks
Knowledge and experience in design for manufacturability using machining processes is essential, with experience in casting design considered an advantage
ERP system knowledge
Strong communication skills
Must be well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to work outside traditional work hours to interact with supporting locations globally
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline
English fluent – verbal and writing, any additional language is a plus
• Minimum Work Experience Required
Min. of 5 years related experience with min. of 2 years in the area of industrial valves
Experience in matrix organization with skip level reporting
Experience working with remote/global teams
