Directs the layout of circuit assemblies to meet emissions and immunity performance requirements and design for manufacturability guidelines.
Transitions products to manufacturing and ensures robust products and manufacturing processes.
Develops and maintains an effective and corroborative working relationship with internal and external development partners.
Resolves competing constraints between interrelated functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, etc.) required to deliver the product to market.
Executes protocols and testing required to validate the safety and effectiveness of the design(s).
Leads the troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to electrical aspects of devices/ subsystems.
Creates and communicates design/test plans, tasks, deliverables and status. Manages time and resources to meet committed schedule milestones
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering.
15+ years of experience in Design and Development of Medical devices or complex electro-mechanical product development
Proven experience in global, matrixed R&D environments.
Strong knowledge of: Electrical systems (electronics, embedded, control systems) System integration and verification methodologies Deep expertise in electro-mechanical system design and integration EMI/EMC design in adherence to regulatory requirements. System engineering, requirement flow down, risk management processes. Understanding of IEC60601, UL, ANSI and ASTM standards Simulation tools like Matlab, LT spice, Signal Integrity, Power integrity. Experienced in power supply, motor drive designs with interactions across multiple subsystems. Regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, IEC) Quality systems and design controls GMP, validation, and manufacturing processes

Medical devices, diagnostics, laboratory testing product experience or similar products is preferred.
Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience.
