Role Overview
The company is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join its Planning team in KSA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Primavera P6 project schedules with WBS, milestones, baselines, and critical path analysis.
- Coordinate schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning teams.
- Monitor progress and update schedules weekly and monthly.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, histograms, earned value analysis, and look-ahead schedules.
- Identify delays and schedule risks and recommend mitigation, recovery, and acceleration plans.
- Review subcontractor schedules and monitor performance against approved programmes.
- Analyze delays and disruptions and support Extension of Time and delay analysis requirements.
- Prepare bid schedules and resource-loaded programmes for tender planning.
- Present schedule performance, risks, and corrective actions in project review meetings.
- Mentor planning engineers and coordinators and review planning deliverables.
- Promote consistent planning standards, reporting methods, and continuous improvement.
