Financial Planning and Analysis
- Work on brand annual budgets covering sales, margins, and markdowns.
- Prepare post-seasonal analysis from department level down to class, subclass, and item levels.
- Propose seasonal strategies for sales, price points, sizes, colours, and assortments with buyers.
- Prepare seasonal budgets and open-to-buy plans aligned with sales, stock, inflows, forward covers, and margins.
- Prepare WSSI merchandise financial plans by month and season at brand, class, and subclass levels.
- Prepare store grading to determine range width, range depth, and stock-holding capacity.
- Share plans with buyers and finalise seasonal buy or range plans for quantities and options.
- Prepare reports comparing actuals against plan for in-season management.
- Monitor brand performance for exceptions in sales, stock holdings, forward covers, and inflows.
- Propose actions for out-of-stock situations with buyers in weekly department meetings.
- Analyse promotions and events and communicate performance results and lessons learned to buyers and management.
