About the Role
KBR is seeking a Sr. Pipeline Commissioning Engineer for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing guidance to EPC contractors on completion milestones, systemization, and handover activities for onshore oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to EPC contractors and sub contractors on completion deliverables and implementations
- Support systemization activities including system and subsystem definition
- Review completion/turnover deliverables issued by EPC Contractor
- Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems
- Participate in completion and commissioning meetings
- Verify readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance
- Ensure Project Completion Management System Database populations are reliable for tracking and monitoring
- Monitor Contractor’s Mechanical Completion and Pre Commissioning activities on a day to day basis
- Participate in system walkdowns and final acceptance inspections
- Support generation and tracking of punch items (Category A/B/C)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent
- Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in completion/turnover within commissioning/operation readiness environment
- At least (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Experience with commissioning sour gas, Utilities, Power Steam and Generation, and air separation projects preferred
- Well versed with Completion Management System as user and reporting application
- Familiar with large database populations checking and quantifying completion data
- Working knowledge of systemization, P&IDs, and completion processes
- Familiarity with international standards (API, ASME, IEC)
- Ability to review technical documentation and certification records

- Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in completion/turnover within commissioning/operation readiness environment with GCC region experience preferred.
- At least (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas, Utilities, Power Steam and Generation and air separation projects.
- Well versed with Completion Management System as user and reporting application.
- Familiar with large database populations checking and quantifying completion data.
