Sr. Network Solution Design Engineer, Functional Engineering

5+ years of experience in Network Security, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure Engineering.

Strong understanding of:- - Micro segmentation and Zero Trust Architecture - Network Segmentation and East-West Traffic Controls - Layer 3-7 networking concepts - Firewall policy design and enforcement - Application Dependency Mapping (ADM) - Least Privilege security models

Experience implementing or managing: - Akamai Guardicore (preferred) - Illumio - Cisco Secure Workload / Tetration - Zero Networks

Knowledge of: - TCP/IP, Routing, Switching - DNS, DHCP - Load Balancers (F5) - Linux and Windows Server platforms

Cloud & Virtualization: Hands-on experience with: - AWS Security Groups - Azure Network Security Groups - VMware vSphere / VCF - VMware NSX - Kubernetes Network Policies - Container security

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
