Sr. Network Engineer

TCS is searching for a Sr.

Network Engineer to support the United States Army’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense [IAMD] Battle Command System (IBCS).

This system is used to protect the US and our allies from air and missile threats.

This program is used to integrate numerous air and missile defense systems (THAAD, PATRIOT, PAC-3, IFPC) with various radars and sensors to effectively manage and operate these defensive weapon systems through a seamless battlefield management system.

These positions require US citizenship, an existing DoD clearance (Secret or higher), and on-site work at a facility in Huntsville, Alabama (telework is not available).

• Support network infrastructure systems and Red Hat Linux (RHEL)-compute platforms
• Support and maintain high availability networks and server clusters
• Responsible for network infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
• Accountable for system administration, identity and authentication, information system security accreditation, data storage and backup, physical infrastructure maintenance, and automation development
• Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs
