Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Documentation
Update existing network diagrams and produce “to‐be” designs for new campus, data‐center, labs, and office environments.
Create and maintain high‐quality documentation for WAN, LAN, data‐center, wireless, and firewall designs and installations.
Implementation & Commissioning
Install, configure, and test routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, and associated software.
Validate hardware, software, and connections to ensure proper configuration and performance.
Operations & Maintenance
Perform scheduled maintenance, including software/firmware upgrades and equipment refreshes.
Enforce corporate change‐control and security policies; maintain standard operating procedures and checklists.
Advanced knowledge of OSPF, BGP, STP, BGP, VRF, IPv4 sub netting, 802.1x, PEAP-MSCHAPv2, TACACS+, SYSLOG, Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, Arista
Incident Management
Diagnose and resolve critical incidents within defined SLA.
Provide after‐hours on‐call support for service restoration, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
Project Management
Document project scope, budget, schedule, test plans, and delivery terms.
Lead complex technical projects with minimal supervision and provide peer verification of release plans.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Ensure accurate network documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Communication
Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all organizational levels; produce concise status and technical reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or Associate degree + CCIE written exam).
Current CCNP certification; ambition to obtain CCIE (full exam).
Minimum of 10 years experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex network infrastructures.
Deep knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, Cisco IOS, NX‐OS, and Arista EOS.
Advanced expertise in routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP, STP, VRF, and IPv4 subnetting.
Strong security background: 802.1X, PEAP‐MSCHAPv2, TACACS+, SYSLOG, Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama (including IPsec VPN).
Hands‐on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, ISE, and access points; ability to perform wireless site surveys.
