Role Overview
The Senior Merchandiser is part of the sales team and is responsible for maximizing on-shelf presence across assigned outlets.
The role includes in-store sampling, promotions, planogram compliance, and supplying current market information to the pre-seller.
Accountabilities
- Visit assigned traditional trade outlets according to the supervisor's daily journey plan.
- Merchandise SSFL products across shelves, stands, floor displays, and other access points.
- Place point-of-sale materials next to applicable displays.
- Ensure displays comply with approved planograms.
- Rotate products using FIFO and remove substandard products.
- Maintain clean and fresh product stock on shelves.
- Monitor competitive activities and report deviations from agreed outlet terms.
- Submit daily activity reports to the supervisor.
- Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns when required.
- Maintain professional appearance and behavior under the company code of conduct.
Required Experience and Competencies
- Valid driving license.
- Service-level orientation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Performance Measures
- Performance is measured through execution standards, LTA enforcement, and journey plan adherence.
