Role Purpose
The merchandiser is part of the sales team and is responsible for maximizing product presence in assigned outlets.
The role includes in-store sampling or promotional activity when required and provides market information to the pre-seller.
Accountabilities
- Call on assigned outlets according to the daily journey plan provided by the supervisor.
- Merchandise SSFL products across shelves, stands, floor displays, and other access points.
- Place point-of-sale materials next to applicable SSFL displays.
- Ensure all access points are merchandised according to approved planograms.
- Rotate products using FIFO and remove substandard products.
- Maintain clean and fresh SSFL stock on shelves.
- Monitor and report competitive activities.
- Report deviations from agreed terms with assigned outlet customers.
- Report the prior day's activities to the supervisor.
- Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns when required.
- Maintain professional appearance and behavior under the Frito Lay code of conduct.
Experience and Competencies
- A valid driving license is required.
- Service-level orientation is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Performance Measures
Performance is measured by execution standards, LTA enforcement, and adherence to the journey plan.
