Key Responsibilities:

Build and develop and lead a team of site reliability engineers that will use and enhance monitoring tools to understand the health of the trading systems, understand what components might be unhealthy, and how to respond to those events Understand how to improve the monitoring/observability of the retail trading systems and, where necessary, work with the development teams to enhance the telemetry as necessary Establish clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with organizational objectives. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Clearly communicate status, issues, risks, and needs to various technology and trading services stakeholders ​

Required Qualifications:

​ ​ ▪ Leverages deep expertise to establish robust methods for efficient technical support ▪ Optimizes methods for integrating, consolidating, and cleansing data with compliance ▪ Leads initiatives to establish advanced incident response methods and optimize processes ▪ Implements advanced QA testing methodologies and drives robust compliance verification ▪ Utilizes functional expertise improve requirements management processes across teams, projects, or programs ▪ Manages initiatives to optimize controls and manage cryptographic functions ▪ Optimizes software design methodologies through effective leadership and process refinement ▪ Executes advanced methodologies to refine software development processes and secure reliability ▪ Optimizes software release and deployment strategies to enhance quality and efficiency ▪ Leads the execution of system design strategies for cloud-based environments ▪ 10+ years of technology experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or production operations ▪ Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, networking, application architecture, and operational support models ▪ Experience with observability platforms, incident management processes, and reliability engineering practices ▪ Strong knowledge of SLOs, SLIs, and Error Budgets , Incident Response and Postmortems , Infrastructure as Code , Cloud Platforms ( specifically GCP /GCE/GKE/Cloud Run ) , Kubernetes and Container Platforms , and Monitoring and Logging Technologies ▪ Strong written and verbal English communication skills ​ ​ ​ ▪ Drives data-based decisions and optimizes performance through strategic insights ▪ Delivers timely updates and effective communication with others involved in a project or effort ▪ Background in Financial Services or other highly regulated environments ▪ Experience supporting mission-critical client-facing applications ▪ Industry certifications related to cloud platforms (specifically Google), Kubernetes, Site Reliability Engineering, or Agile Delivery. ▪ Leverages deep industry knowledge to drive success while leading high-impact teams, projects, or programs ▪ Creates opportunities for others to assume meaningful responsibilities ▪ Identifies and resolves challenges with a forward-looking approach ▪ Creates and sustains a supportive atmosphere that integrates diverse perspectives into decision-making ▪ Develops and implements procedures that enhance business effectiveness ▪ Leads the collaboration of diverse perspectives to work together as a team ▪ Influences business unit strategies to optimize resource allocation ▪ Proactively sets expectations, monitors performance, and offers constructive feedback ▪ Verbally delivers precise, persuasive communication for productive outcomes ▪ Upholds high standards of reliability, trust, and subject matter authority ▪ Delivers impactful messages that persuade diverse audiences ▪ Establishes strategic goals, measures performance, and optimizes outcomes ▪ Analyzes trends to create actionable strategies that align with long-term goals ▪ Drives continuous improvement by raising quality benchmarks and establishing new standards of excellence ▪ Develops compelling written content that influences and engages readers ​
