Job Purpose
- Manage internal warehouse activities, stock issues, receiving, control, and work allocation to helpers for optimum productivity.
- Coordinate with the Store Supervisor on stock allocation to support smooth receiving and production requirements.
Principal Accountabilities
- Complete daily and month-end inventory reconciliation and report physical count results to the Store Supervisor.
- Follow AGRO and MRP offloading plans, daily task checklists, and warehouse tour checklists.
- Maintain warehouse conditions according to AIB standards, hygiene processes, and applicable checklists.
- Ensure accurate receiving, issuance, loading, offloading, and blind-count activities.
- Manage shift handovers, pending work, special instructions, and daily document-flow follow-up.
- Coordinate shipment documentation with Quality and allocate work to dispatchers, laborers, and forklift operators.
- Coordinate storage movements with forklift operators to support FEFO procedures.
- Inspect PIT equipment and follow up with fleet teams on preventive maintenance.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is properly used, maintained, and covered by periodic maintenance records.
- Implement and sustain EHS controls and continual improvement activities in the assigned area.
Qualifications
- At least two years of supply chain experience, preferably in warehouse operations.
- Food manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, or Technical Studies is required.
- A qualification in supply chain or warehousing management is required.
- The candidate should demonstrate leadership, corrective-action capability, communication, negotiation, analytical, and planning skills.
- Good spoken and written English is required.
