About the Role
Nasco Automotive FZE is seeking a Senior Logistics Officer to manage end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics for sea, air, and land shipments. The role involves sourcing and negotiating freight rates, managing relationships with freight forwarders, and ensuring compliance with UAE customs regulations.

Responsibilities
- Manage end to end inbound and outbound logistics for sea, air, and on land shipments
- Source and negotiate competitive freight and carrier rates
- Select and manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs clearance providers
- Plan and optimize shipment consolidation, routing, and scheduling
- Track freight status and resolve delays, discrepancies, and claims
- Prepare and control commercial and transport documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAE/Dubai customs regulations and free zone rules
- Coordinate customs clearance and port/terminal operations
- Maintain accurate shipment records and reports
- Manage disputes, freight claims, and vendor performance remediation

Key duties and responsibilities
- Manage end to end inbound and outbound logistics for sea, air and on land shipments.
- Source and negotiate competitive freight and carrier rates; secure best cost, service fit contracts and spot quotes.
- Select and manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs clearance and transport providers; monitor service levels and SLAs.
- Plan and optimize shipment consolidation, routing, and scheduling to minimize transit time and cost.
- Track and follow up on freight status; proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, demurrage, detention, and claims.
- Prepare, review and control all commercial and transport documentation: bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, insurance certificates and other required paperwork.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE/Dubai customs regulations, import/export controls, free zone rules.
- Coordinate customs clearance and port/terminal operations inside Jabal Ali free Zone.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, update the system and reports.
- Manage disputes, freight claims and vendor performance remediation.
