Sr. Lead, Software Engineer

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Lead a portfolio of technology projects addressing regulatory needs.
• Lead developers working with distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Mentor engineers and participate in technology communities.
• Collaborate with digital product managers.
• Deliver cloud-based solutions that support customer experiences.
• Use JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Code or evaluate code when needed.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least six years of software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
• At least one year of cloud computing experience required.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Nine or more years of experience in at least one listed programming language preferred.
• Four or more years of cloud service experience preferred.
• Four or more years of open source framework experience preferred.
• At least one year of people management experience preferred.
• Two or more years of Agile experience preferred.
• Experience using advanced interactive AI tooling preferred.

Compensation

• The New York, New York annual salary range is $250,800 to $286,200.
• The role may also include performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses or long-term incentives.
