Role Overview
HSI is seeking an experienced Senior IT Operations Engineer for a hands-on role supporting employee technology and internal IT operations.
The role combines Tier 2 technical support, onboarding and offboarding, workflow automation, network and access administration, and project work.
The position is based in Eugene, Oregon, and follows a hybrid schedule after full-time onsite onboarding and ramp-up.
IT Operations and Support
- Manage support tickets and provide Tier 2 escalation support for employee technology, systems, connectivity, access, authentication, and provisioning.
- Improve internal IT operations, support processes, service delivery, and employee-facing technology resources.
- Improve the employee-facing IT Hub and create practical tools, resources, and self-service experiences.
Employee Lifecycle and Automation
- Design and improve onboarding, offboarding, and role-change processes with HR, IT, Security, Legal, and business stakeholders.
- Implement automation for account creation, access provisioning, approvals, support workflows, and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Lead or support workflow design, systems integrations, technology modernization, and operational process improvements.
