- Lead the development and implementation of innovative High Performance Butterfly Valve technologies and concepts. Serve as a subject matter expert on the mechanical design and performance of valve components and systems. Develop new product concepts aligned with customer needs and market opportunities. Guide projects from concept development through detailed design, validation, and implementation. Establish, document, and implement engineering best practices and design methodologies. Mentor engineering team members by sharing technical expertise and providing project guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, testing, simulation, materials engineering, marketing, and supply chain. Support strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned

- Develop new product concepts aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Guide projects from concept development through detailed design, validation, and implementation.
- Establish, document, and implement engineering best practices and design methodologies.
- Mentor engineering team members by sharing technical expertise and providing project guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, testing, simulation, materials engineering, marketing, and supply chain.

- Min. of 15 years related experience with min. of 5 years in the area of industrial valves Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrated expertise in applying engineering fundamentals to mechanical systems and developing new product concepts. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience
with pressure-retaining materials, material coatings, wear mechanisms, machine design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, including additive manufacturing and multi-axis machining.
Ability to execute the complete product development lifecycle, from customer requirements through prototype testing and production implementation.
Proficiency with CAD software such as Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
Working knowledge of international engineering standards and quality systems, including ASME, API, EN, ISO, and related valve standards.
Experience
with design verification and engineering methodologies such as GD&T, DFMEA, QFD, DFM/A, Six Sigma, and engineering calculations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global and collaborative environment.
Flexibility to collaborate across global time zones and travel as business needs require.
