Sr Generalist, HR

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hourly and salaried hiring needs.
• Coordinate interviews, hiring events, and onboarding activities.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure successful employee integration.
• Support workforce planning efforts to meet production and business demands.

• Guide leaders through performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, corrective action, and performance reviews.
• Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning opportunities.
• Support succession planning and employee development initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Maintain personnel records and HR documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Partner with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to support regulatory compliance and employee wellness initiatives.
• Assist with unemployment claims, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Administer HR programs, policies, and procedures while driving consistency across the organization.

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to site leadership.
• Analyze workforce trends, turnover, absenteeism, and employee engagement metrics.
• Recommend and implement HR solutions that support operational goals.
• Collaborate with corporate HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, and talent acquisition teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations.

• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.

• Strong knowledge of employment law, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, and other HR regulations.
• Excellent conflict resolution and employee relations skills.
• Ability to build credibility and influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
