Sr Full Stack Engineer

We're a background screening and occupational health platform that takes background checks from order to final report: candidate PII collection, vendor orchestration, adjudication, and compliance-ready delivery, all under one roof.

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who's equally at home in a mature Rails monolith and a fleet of fast, focused Go services. Someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end in a domain where correctness, security, and speed all genuinely matter.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Design and build features across the Rails monolith and Go microservices — candidate portals, partner flows, I-9 workflows, and internal admin and adjudication tools.

Extend our ATS and partner integrations.

Orchestrate asynchronous vendor searches and reporting pipelines.

Use AI throughout your workflow, pair with AI coding assistants, leverage automated AI code review on every PR, and use agentic tools to move faster without cutting corners.

Help build AI-powered features into the platform: intelligent document parsing, structured extraction from vendor records, and smarter automation of screening and adjudication workflows.

Own the full lifecycle of your work: build it, test it (including major UX paths), get it reviewed, ship it, and monitor it.

Requirements & Skills:

Strong production experience with b2b SaaS applications.

Solid Go skills, or equivalent backend experience with HTTP services, background workers, and comfort with concurrency.

Strong PostgreSQL skills and good instincts for relational data modeling.

A track record building and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations (webhooks, OAuth, SFTP); mcp experience is a plus.

Comfort with server-rendered frontends (ERB/HTML/CSS) and a habit of writing well tested code.

We will disclose intended pay ranges in our job ads for US-based opportunities – This role can be performed 100% remote anywhere in the US. Anticipated Pay Range: $155k – $170k Annually USD
