Role Overview
The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition will manage end-to-end recruitment for the WISE segment of Medhavi Skills University.
The role hires across academic, operations, sales, partnerships, and corporate functions while supporting speed, quality, cultural alignment, and workforce planning.
End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage recruitment from manpower requisition through onboarding.
- Coordinate with department heads on workforce requirements and hiring priorities.
- Draft and refine job descriptions, source candidates, conduct preliminary screening, and coordinate interviews.
- Ensure defined turnaround times for position closures.
Offer and Documentation Management
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and align salary proposals with internal budgets.
- Lead salary negotiations, draft offer letters, and coordinate pre-joining engagement.
- Verify educational, employment, salary, identity, and statutory documents.
- Coordinate background verification and onboarding formalities where applicable.
HRMS and Onboarding
- Create and update employee profiles in the HRMS with accurate personal, compensation, and reporting details.
- Coordinate with Payroll and HR Operations for salary processing.
- Support joining formalities, induction coordination, and a smooth onboarding experience.
Strategic Hiring and Process Management
- Support hiring across the WISE segment and develop pipelines for volume hiring and critical positions.
- Conduct competitor and industry mapping for lateral talent acquisition.
- Provide recruitment dashboards and status updates, manage hiring-manager expectations, and support structured interview evaluations.
- Support recruitment audit and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in education, EdTech, staffing, or skill development.
- Experience in both bulk hiring and mid-level lateral hiring.
- Exposure to academic and field sales hiring is preferred.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or a relevant qualification is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Strong sourcing capability across multiple platforms, salary negotiation, offer management, and compensation benchmarking.
- Experience assessing role fit and cultural alignment.
- Experience with offer letters, employment documentation, documentation verification, HRMS systems, and onboarding.
- Strong turnaround-time management, follow-up, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and process discipline.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment with ownership, accountability, problem-solving, and decision-making capability.
