Role overview
Verizon is hiring a Senior Engineer Consultant for the AI Platforms and AI Governance organization.
The role supports the build and operate phases of an enterprise AI Governance ecosystem.
The position leads an engineering pod responsible for architecture, automation, security, compliance, and AI governance.
Core responsibilities
- Integrate AI development platforms with safety and compliance hubs through overarching architecture.
- Set enterprise standards and negotiate governance guardrails with Legal, InfoSec, and Responsible AI organizations.
- Architect and code automated governance pipelines that inject security and Responsible AI guardrails into deployment lifecycles.
- Implement Tau2-based agent simulation and continuous observability telemetry for production LLMs.
- Build API integrations with governance hubs including Engram and Agent Registry.
- Architect IAM and routing logic within the Agent Gateway for secure autonomous workflows.
- Drive new intellectual property, patents, and advanced evaluation metrics.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience.
- At least five years of relevant experience through work experience or specialized training.
