Sr. Engineer - Business Development

Planning and execution of processes, activities in Marketing, New product development, Sales & Customer services functions.

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions 1.

Assist in preparing market plans and strategies to promote company’s products 2.

Prepare effective presentations on business development opportunities 3.

Inform superiors on identified business opportunities 4.

Develop good customer relationship by personal visits, phone call, follow ups, emails etc 5.

Maintain strong relationship with customers for future business growth 6.

Assist in preparing quotations 7.

Work with internal teams to achieve targeted business goals 8.

Assist in conducting trade shows & other marketing campaigns 9.

Assist in preparing the invoicing & dispatching activities 10.

Updation of Sales & Marketing documentation to meet QMS requirements 11.

Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors 12.

Regular updation of quote log sheets 13.

Updating of sales order in Tally Other Position Duties 1.

Participate in regular meetings with team and provide periodical reports 2.

On need basis, travel to other SMC plants for providing technical support 3.

Visit prospective suppliers based on specific project requirements Technical/Functional Skill Sets 1.

Basic knowledge of plastics engineering and/or medical devices 2.
