Role overview
Provide advanced application support within an innovation-focused technology services environment.
The role is identified as Senior Engineer - Application Support P 4B.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
- Monitor application performance and perform application maintenance.
- Apply patches and upgrade software versions.
- Maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
- Test, deploy, and support new application implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master's degree in Software Engineering.
- Proficient English language ability at C2 level.
Required skills
- Agile methodology, collaboration tools, design thinking, client relations, and IT process automation.
- Kronos Workforce Management, Python, Ruby on Rails, Splunk, and VERITAS NetBackup.
