Role overview
Genpact is seeking a Senior Engineer for application support in an office-based role in Bengaluru.
The position provides advanced technical support and participates in application maintenance and implementation activities.
Job responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related incidents with advanced technical support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Monitor application performance and perform regular maintenance.
- Apply patches and upgrade software versions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
- Support new application implementations through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master’s degree in Software Engineering.
- Splunk Certified User certification is required.
- Required skills include Agile Methodology, Client Relations, Collaboration Tools, Design Thinking, Executive Presence, Inclusion, Personal Effectiveness, and Storytelling.
- English proficiency at C2 level is required.
