Role Overview

Core Engineering Focus

• Design scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, digital-twin dry runs, and zero-downtime network configuration deployment.
• Establish Network-as-Code and GitOps workflows using Git as the source of truth for network state, policy, and infrastructure design.
• Design software-defined networks and container networking interfaces across multi-region cloud and bare-metal environments.
• Provide Tier 4 technical authority for complex routing, overlay, and network issues.
• Build telemetry, monitoring, and alerting-as-code platforms with automated remediation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise design, SRE, and platform teams on resilient, secure, multi-tenant-isolated network infrastructure.
• Write and review Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Python, and Bash.
• Deploy and optimize VXLAN, OVN, Project Calico, and other modern overlay and container networking solutions.
• Automate firewall, load-balancer, security-group, ACL, and traffic-management policies.
• Create network validation suites for routing tables, network health, and pre- and post-deployment verification.
• Maintain code-based infrastructure definitions and dynamic technical documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Requires 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, DevOps, or SRE with large-scale automation and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise.
• Requires expert Ansible, Terraform, Python, and network automation library experience.
• Requires deep SDN, overlay, Kubernetes networking, enterprise routing, security fabric, Linux networking, and API-driven load-balancing expertise.
• Requires CCIE-level or equivalent knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and EVPN.
• Requires experience with CI/CD platforms, infrastructure testing, packet analysis, NetFlow, and log aggregation.
• Requires technical leadership experience mentoring engineers and leading design or cross-functional initiatives.
• Telecommunications experience in VoIP, RTP, SIP, and SBCs is highly advantageous.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to executive stakeholders.
