Role Overview
Formulaic is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and containerization.
The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud solutions for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Develop and manage Terraform Infrastructure as Code with version-controlled deployment configurations.
- Implement Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for resilient application deployments.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines with software development teams for efficient software delivery.
- Manage Git source control systems and support effective team collaboration.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot infrastructure performance to maintain system health.
- Implement security best practices and compliance measures across infrastructure.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve automation and streamline processes.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of professional DevOps experience focused on AWS and related technologies.
- Strong AWS expertise, including EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS, with hands-on infrastructure design and deployment experience.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Extensive Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- In-depth CI/CD knowledge using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Solid Git and code repository management experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Additional Requirements
- AWS DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Ability to travel to the office site three days weekly.
- Dedicated remote workspace.
- Ability to work in virtual teams.
Work Arrangement
- The role offers hybrid work options and requires office-site attendance three days weekly.
