Position Overview
Genpact is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Data Engineering 4B team.
The role focuses on building scalable data systems and delivering data engineering solutions in an innovation-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data processing systems.
- Implement and maintain pipelines that ingest, process, and store large volumes of data.
- Optimize data infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and implement suitable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in big data engineering.
- Mentor junior data engineers on best practices and technical skills.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business analytics, computer science, or statistics, or a master’s degree in data science, is listed.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification is listed as a qualification.
Required Skills
- Data engineering and the Databricks Platform are required skill areas.
