Role Overview
Thunkable is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data & Analytics team.
The role bridges analytics and data foundations, connecting data from multiple sources.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish facts and understand the market, business, customers, and product.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to add, validate and maintain event tracking within React-based interfaces.
- Improve data reliability by identifying and troubleshooting tracking issues.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape business requirements into scalable data architecture.
- Document data architecture, key components, and data flows.
- Query and analyze data from Amplitude and other SQL/NoSQL systems.
- Conduct product and marketing analyses such as funnels, cohort analyses, and user segmentation.
- Develop and monitor key metrics, including automated dashboards and recurring reports.
- Lead data initiatives and experimentation, defining measurement approaches.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of work experience in data science, data analytics or other quantitative roles.
- Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines and integrations.
- Experience with event tracking instrumentation and collaborating with engineering teams.
- Experience with handling real-time and historical data from the ground up.
- Experience with data queries and statistical programming tools (SQL, R, Python, etc.).
- Experience with product and marketing analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communicator able to explain complex analyses using visualization and storytelling.
- Self-starter who thrives in a start-up environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with improving data pipelines, data storage and analytical frameworks.
- Event tracking (e.g., JavaScript, Google Tag Manager).
- JavaScript and React.
