- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

Position Purpose
- The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for ad hoc data request support, and developing and maintaining analytics tools to support the Assurance and Advisory Management (AMP) team for project work across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Finance and IT projects.
- This individual should possess strong data mining skills and be familiar with the BI tools and technology used by the AMP team to support project needs (Tableau / Tableau Server, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Assistant, ACL, Teradata, DB2, BTEQ, SAP, and SharePoint).
- This role requires interaction with team members across all of the functional areas to understand their requirements and be able to develop solutions to support their data analysis needs.
Key Responsibilities
- 40% Support AMP (Internal Audit) staff with ad hoc data support required across functional areas such as Operations, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain and IT and provide solutions to drive efficiency and improved results.
- 30% Develop and maintain data mining and reporting capabilities to support the department.
- 10% Capture and develop queries and reports that can be leveraged by AMP staff to perform more efficient and accurate analytics.
- 10% Assist with the development and delivery of data analytics training for the department.
- 10% Derive meaning from data analytics and present in summarized format.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Experience with the following tools and technologies required: Tableau / Tableau Server, SQL, SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS), Access and Excel.
- Experience with the following tools and technologies is a plus: ACL, Teradata, DB2, BTEQ, SAP and SharePoint.
Minimum Education
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
