Lynx Contracting Company is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Contracts & Claims Engineer to lead contractual claims management across large-scale construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities
- Apply legal/commercial experience and familiarity with FIDIC contracts and Saudi local regulations to identify, prepare, and submit contractual claims.
- Review contracts, project records, and correspondence to support claim preparation and responses.
- Monitor project progress and flag events that may give rise to a claim, ensuring timely notices are issued.
- Provide day to day contractual advice to project teams on their rights and obligations under the contract.
- Draft and review contractual letters, notices, and formal claim documents.
- Work with planning engineers to analyze delays and prepare time impact assessments.
- Review and respond to claims submitted by subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support the resolution of disputes through negotiation, and coordinate with legal counsel when required.
- Maintain proper claims records and ensure all supporting documentation is well organized.
- Assist in final account preparation, variation settlements, and project close out.
- Guide and support project teams on proper documentation practices and contractual awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in claims, contracts, or commercial management in the construction industry.
- Solid experience working with FIDIC contracts.
- Familiarity with Saudi construction regulations and local project environments.
- Background in legal or commercial aspects of construction.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Arabic proficiency is preferred.
- Good knowledge of delay analysis methods and planning tools such as Primavera P6.
- Ability to prepare and review cost claims and variation assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Position Overview
- Lynx Contracting Company is seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Sr. Contracts & Claims Engineer to lead the preparation, management, and resolution of contractual claims across large scale retail commercial, healthcare, residential and mixed use projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arab
- The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the company's contractual interests through expert analysis of claims, disputes, and variations, ensuring full compliance with FIDIC conditions of contract and applicable Saudi regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply legal/commercial experience and familiarity with FIDIC contracts and Saudi local regulations to identify, prepare, and submit contractual claims including extension of time (EOT), delay, and cost claims in accordance with contract requirements.
- Review contracts, project records, and correspondence to support claim preparation and responses.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 20 years of experience in claims, contracts, or commercial management in the construction industry.
- Solid experience working with FIDIC contracts.

- CIArb membership or equivalent preferred.
- RICS membership is an advantage.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Arabic proficiency is preferred.
