Sr. Consultant – SAP Sales & Distribution

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity of sales, distribution, billing, returns, pricing, and customer-related processes across multiple business units.
• Own Van Sales, handheld and mobile sales applications, route sales, collections, inventory, and delivery transactions.
• Manage SAP SD integrations with FI, MM, inventory, logistics, e-invoicing, mobile applications, and third-party systems.
• Improve order-to-cash, pricing, delivery, invoicing, returns, credit management, and customer master-data processes.
• Manage requirements, WRICEF intake, functional specifications, Fit-to-Standard workshops, testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate with business process owners and Sales, Finance, Logistics, Distribution, and business-unit leadership.
• Coordinate with ABAP, integration, middleware, infrastructure, and external support teams.
• Analyze production issues, coordinate resolution, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain documentation.
• Support business controls, audit requirements, tax and e-invoicing compliance, and data-integrity standards.
• Support customer, pricing, material, sales-area, output, and interface-related master-data governance.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Strong functional expertise in SAP SD, including order-to-cash, pricing, delivery, billing, returns, customer master data, and output management.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD integrations with FI, MM, inventory, logistics, e-invoicing, mobile applications, and third-party systems.
• Experience with WRICEF management, functional specifications, testing, Fit-to-Standard workshops, cutover, and go-live support.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA Greenfield methodology and SAP Best Practices.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and coordination with ABAP and technical teams.
• At least 8–10 years of SAP SD consulting or implementation experience.
• Experience with global IT consultancies, SAP implementation partners, or large process-manufacturing organizations.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Industry experience in FMCG, dairy, food and beverage, distribution, poultry, agriculture, or process manufacturing is preferred.
• Van Sales, route sales, handheld or mobile sales, and field-sales experience is preferred.
• Relevant SAP certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
