Role overview
Senior Business Systems Analyst responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large projects in a highly technical environment.
The role covers all aspects of requirements delivery, including planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, management, and support.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and document business requirements, processes, user stories, data catalogues, business rules, use cases, and UI designs.
- Align and prioritize requirements with quarterly and annual business objectives.
- Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to support system integration.
- Analyze integration options, address data quality issues, and contribute to data models and system architecture.
- Apply enterprise methodologies for planning and documentation while communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
Required qualifications
- Three to five or more years of professional experience in the insurance or financial sector.
- Relevant domain expertise and proficiency with Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Kanban, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with stakeholder collaboration, scope identification, and change management.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification.
- Experience with SQL, API, XML, JSON message structures, fundamental data concepts, or AI tools.
Schedule
- The posted schedule is 37.5 work hours per week.
