Senior business systems analyst responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large projects in a highly technical environment.
The role covers planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, management, and support of requirements delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Elicit and document business requirements, processes, user stories, data catalogues, business rules, use cases, and UI designs.
- Align and prioritize requirements with quarterly and annual business objectives.
- Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to support alignment and seamless system integration.
- Analyze integration options, address data quality issues, and contribute to data models and system architecture.
- Apply enterprise methodologies for planning and documentation.
- Coach and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five-plus years of professional experience in the insurance or financial sector.
- Relevant domain expertise and proficiency with Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge and leadership capabilities in Agile, Kanban, Scrum, and other frameworks.
- Experience applying best practices in Agile and hybrid environments.
- Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Experience with stakeholder collaboration, scope identification, and change management.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or related technical degree or diploma in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification.
- Experience analyzing data using SQL, APIs, XML, and JSON message structures.
- Strong knowledge of data concepts such as groups, hierarchies, and data structures.
- Experience working with AI tools.
