Support business analysis activities on medium- to large-sized Digital projects within a mortgage transformation program.

Own requirements delivery, including planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, management, and support.
Responsibilities
- Manage Agile ceremonies with the Product Owner and assist with decomposing epics into user stories.
- Document and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, business rules, and data elements.
- Analyze stakeholders, facilitate refinement sessions, and create shared understanding across Technology, Product, and Design teams.
- Maintain reusable requirements documentation in Confluence and support application UI design and development.
- Document test scenarios, support developers through requirements, build, and testing activities, and apply coverage analysis.
- Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts.
Must-Have Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst or business systems analyst.
- At least 2 years of experience on an Agile project.
- Independent business and systems requirements gathering experience.
- Experience with online banking or mobile banking.
- Knowledge of requirements methodology across Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Experience with user stories, business and system specifications, business context diagrams, and business process maps.
- Experience working on projects valued at more than $2 million.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder groups of 20 or more people.
- Bachelor’s degree from a university.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and gap analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, or Confluence for requirements documentation and modeling.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Previous RBC experience.
- Experience with accessibility requirements or BDD feature files.
- Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis, CBAP, or PMI-PBA certification.
- Experience with digital mortgage projects or mortgage financing and approval.
