Sr. Business Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to design and optimize business systems and user experiences.
• Conduct business and data analysis to support system development and enhancements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support product backlog refinement with the team.
• Gather requirements from business units and user groups and capture pain points.
• Create data models, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Ensure solutions align with business goals, compliance standards, and technical best practices.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with design teams.
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data modeling and business process improvement.
• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team environment.
• Government or public sector experience is considered an asset.

Compensation

• The role pays $40.00-$55.00 per hour.

• The role is hybrid remote in Brampton, Ontario.
