Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Next.js.
- Build high-performance, secure, and reusable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR), API routes, and backend integrations in Next.js.
- Architect and implement microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Create technical designs, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation.
- Ensure applications meet scalability, availability, and security requirements.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technology evaluations.
- Design and optimize relational database solutions using MySQL.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance tuning strategies.
- Implement data migration, backup, recovery, and database optimization activities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development.
- Expertise in designing and developing scalable backend services.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL API development.
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and backend integrations in Next.js.
- Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture design.
- Ability to create comprehensive technical designs and documentation.
- Understanding of scalability, availability, and security best practices.
- Experience with relational database design and optimization using MySQL.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with data migration, backup, and recovery processes.
