Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams of architects and drafters on large-scale residential, commercial, and hospital projects for the US, UK, and international markets.
- Oversee all project phases, including concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Supervise the preparation and review of millwork shop drawings and interior fit-out packages, ensuring technical precision and alignment with client and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with US and UK architectural standards, local codes, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Review and validate drawings, models, and deliverables for accuracy, quality, and technical integrity.
- Mentor and train junior architects and drafters, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to architectural design and delivery.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- 8–12 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Demonstrated experience delivering North American and UK residential, commercial, and hospital projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full architectural project life cycle and various delivery models.
- Hands-on experience in developing and coordinating millwork shop drawings and interior fit-out detailing for diverse project types.
- Good knowledge of US/UK architectural standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and BIM platforms.
