Role Overview

Workplace

• The position is based in Hyderabad and uses a hybrid work arrangement, including three days in the office.

Financial Modeling and Variance Analysis

• Analyze raw material, semi-finished product, and finished product costs in SAP.
• Partner with commercial teams on product margin fluctuation queries.
• Support forecast and budget preparation.
• Monitor plant fixed and variable costs and explain monthly variances.
• Review supply chain general and administrative expenses.
• Prepare capex spend analysis and support capex budgeting and forecasting.
• Build financial models for capex proposals.
• Identify and communicate cost trends and business issues.
• Support monthly results, cost absorption, operating unit recap, and productivity reporting.
• Control inventory write-offs and disposals, and review material yield and slow-moving or obsolete goods.
• Answer costing questions and ad hoc requests with detailed explanations.

Reporting and Supply Chain Projects

• Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain and sourcing cost reports with insights.
• Prepare and analyze KPI slides for supply chain leadership.
• Deliver ad hoc requests from onshore teams.
• Analyze manufacturing cost reports in Power BI, OneStream, and Tableau.
• Review performance metrics and KPIs for supply chain finance teams.

Requirements

• Ability to perform financial modeling and variance analysis for manufacturing, supply chain, and plant costs.
• Ability to prepare forecasts, budgets, management reports, and KPI analyses.
• Ability to analyze capex proposals, budgets, forecasts, and spend.
• Ability to work with commercial, engineering, supply chain, sourcing, and finance stakeholders.
• Ability to use SAP and financial reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI, OneStream, or Tableau.
