Sr. AI Business Analyst

About the role

What you will do

• Identify and prioritize opportunities where analytics, process redesign, and automation can improve business outcomes.
• Lead process optimization initiatives for high-volume, business-critical workflows using AI-first process thinking.
• Design executive-ready dashboards, KPI frameworks, predictive insights, and decision-support tools.
• Build scalable automation solutions using Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
• Translate business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, analytics solutions, and workflow automations.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive adoption and measurable impact.
• Evaluate emerging BI and AI capabilities and recommend compliant enterprise improvements.
• Mentor analysts and promote best practices in analytics, visualization, storytelling, and continuous improvement.

Basic requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, process improvement, automation, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise BI solutions, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations in a complex business environment.
• Experience leading workflow optimization or automation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Automate and/or Copilot Studio.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, KPI development, and solution translation skills.

Preferred skills and experience

• Experience with Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar BI and visualization platforms.
• Experience applying AI-enabled analytics, intelligent automation, or generative AI in enterprise workflows.
• Background in process mapping, operational excellence, Lean/Six Sigma, or workflow transformation.
• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience mentoring analysts or leading cross-functional analytics initiatives.
• Strong data storytelling, change management, and adoption skills.

Compensation

• The stated base pay range is CAD 99,100 to CAD 132,100.
• Additional compensation may include an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities.
