Responsible for drafting contract exhibits and participating in negotiation of terms and conditions
Lead efforts for strategic alignment and procurement effectiveness with Category Management, other Procurement team members, and the business
Manage the day-to-day contract related requests such as supporting contractor on-boarding requirements, change management activities, and claims management
Prepare contract strategy documents, recommendations to award, and contract executive summaries
Be a champion of Nutrien’s Diversity and Inclusion efforts regarding Indigenous engagement and inclusion
Engage in peer leadership, coaching, and mentoring with team members across all potash site locations

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline. A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered
6+ years relevant experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, Supply Chain Management, project management, engineering, or a related field
A proactive, high-energy mindset with the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, effectively engaging with both internal customers and external suppliers
Proficiency in legal and commercial contract negotiations

Targeted experience in competitive sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract execution, supplier relationship management, spend analytics, and supplier risk management will be considered a strong asset
Experience with contract management/administration, including invoice validation, contract interpretation, and claims management, will be considered an asset
