Sr. Accountant

Job Summary

Accounting and Financial Management

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, credit control, and aging analysis.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure proper classification and accounting of inventory, cost of goods sold, and margins.

Budgeting and Financial Analysis

• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results and advise management on corrective actions.
• Perform product-wise and channel-wise profitability analysis.

Cash Flow and Treasury

• Monitor daily cash flows and bank positions.
• Forecast short-term and long-term liquidity needs.
• Manage banking relationships and negotiate letters of credit, trust receipts, and overdraft facilities.

Inventory and Costing

• Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Ensure correct application of landed cost, freight, customs, and warranty reserves.

Taxation and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT laws.
• Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns.
• Liaise with tax consultants and auditors.

Requirements

• Experience managing end-to-end accounting and financial operations is required.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations is required.
• Experience with inventory valuation, costing, and related reserves is required.
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT laws is required.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 8,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
